Join the Seven Sisters Alum Association for an exciting journey through Real Clothes, Real Lives: 200 Years of What Women Wore, the Smith College Historic Clothing Collection, co-curated by Kiki Smith, Smith ’71. Explore the evolution of women’s fashion over the course of two centuries and discover the stories behind the garments (including Sylvia Plath’s Girl Scout uniform). Ideal for fashion enthusiasts and history buffs alike, this groundbreaking exhibition examines the everyday clothing of ordinary women, from hard-worn housedresses to psychedelic microminis and modern suits to fast-food workers’ uniforms. Attendees will also have access to other exhibitions at the museum in addition to 10 percent off in the gift shop.
